Walk off back pain

I love walking. Walking is simple, easy, cost-effective, and right outside the front door.

Walking is good for the heart and the leg muscles. It promotes emotional stability and effective sleep cycles. It wards away disease.

It's even good for the back.

Researchers, whose study was published in Clinical Rehabilitation, found a home walking program is highly effective in treating chronic low-back pain.  In fact, it is just as effective as a targeted strength training program.

Tie up those laces and hit the sidewalk. Strive to walk at a moderate intensity twice a week. That's all it takes.
