Massage aids muscle recovery

I'm always searching for healthy reasons to indulge in activities I love, like sleeping, drinking coffee, hanging from a trapeze table, or eating dessert, so I was delighted to find good scientific data to justify a post-workout massage.

Researchers, whose study was published in Science Translational Medicine, found a massage conducted after vigorous exercise reduces muscle inflammation and helps muscles begin to repair themselves at a cellular level.
