Easy diet tricks: ice water

Who would've known.  Water is proving to be an important ally in battling the bulge.  Not only can a well hydrated body resist food temptation because it doesn't mistake thirst for hunger, but researchers say drinking the liquid cold can boost your metabolism.

A study published in the International Journal of Obesity shows drinking cold water significantly increases the calories the body expends to maintain normal body functions while it is at rest.  Moreover, people who take in less water are more likely to be obese, and dieters who don't drink water have more difficulty losing weight.
Break out those ice cube trays, ladies.  This is an easy diet trick to add to your arsenal.
